What do you use instead of sugar in your products?

At Pändy, we believe that snacks can and should be part of a healthy lifestyle. We produce "better-for-you" products without compromising on taste. Our candy contains fiber, erythritol, sucralose and acesulfame-K to taste sweet without adding sugar.

Which of your products are vegan?

The following Pändy products are vegan:

Where are your products produced?

All our products are produced in Sweden and within Europe.

Will your candy make my stomach upset?

Our candy contains a higher amount of fibres, which can affect the stomach. You can compare it with other products with a high fibre content, it can make the stomach work a little. How people react is always different from person to person.

How much research is there about these sweeteners and what does the research say?

Sucralose and acesulfame-K are completely energy-free sweeteners used in many different products. Both of these sweeteners are well studied and deemed safe by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) if they are added in the right amounts. We of course stay within the approved levels and are constantly updated on new research on these sweeteners.

Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that is energy-free. Sugar alcohols can be found in nature but in very small amounts, for that reason, sugar alcohols are produced from natural sugars. Erythritol, just like sucralose and acesulfame-K, is a well-studied and approved sweetener where we stay within the approved limit values.

Can maltitol cause an upset stomach?

Maltitol is a very common sweetener used by many brands to adjust the texture and taste of products without using sugar. How well you tolerate sweeteners is of course individual, but many people may experience problems with an upset stomach when consuming products with maltitol. For this reason, we have chosen to avoid maltitol completely in our Pändy candy. In our Pändy protein bars, only the chocolate coating contains a small amount of maltitol, so the risk of the stomach being affected is low.

Why is there 1 g of sugar in the candy?

Our candy has no added sugar; the small amount of sugar listed in the nutritional information occurs naturally in corn starch.

Do you have a physical store?

No, we do not have a physical store, but we are market leaders in Sweden and Norway, and we have retailers in 35 markets worldwide.

Can i see in which particular stores your products are sold?

Unfortunately not, we can't guarantee that a specific store has our products in stock. The best way to find out is to call the intended store and ask.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Within Sweden the delivery time is usually 1-3 days. The shipping to other European countries is usually 3-6 days.

Is there a fee for returns?

Yes, the customer is responsible for paying for the shipping of the returned order. Please read more in ourRefund Policy.
